Description
The ʻapapane is a Hawaiian honeycreeper endemic to the islands. They are mostly found in the mountains where they feed on the nectar of ʻōhiʻa lehua. Their songs and calls are diverse, filling the forest with beautiful sounds. ʻApapane populations are slowly declining throughout Hawaiʻi.
