"When picking out clothing for my keiki (whether it’s the material I use in my shop or something I buy from a store)...I always try to find fabric that is soft to the touch but durable to handle rough play!
I thought long and hard about offering an organic line (because organic does cost more) but in the end I couldn’t be happier with how they came out!!!
Organic cotton - super soft to the touch
- Due to the nature of this print, Pattern Placement of the lei will vary. No two onesies are alike, each lei are unique.
- The 9-12mo size was mistagged and fits like a 6-12mo.
Background on this Design:
This is the final lei design in this collection. When I approached Emily about this final lei design, I wanted something that would capture the feeling of what unites us as a people of Hawaii.
I wanted it to be colorful...To me, color always brings that feeling of happiness, soemthing we all need during this tough year of 2020. What started off as colors representing the islands (yes I know, not really "Hawaiian" but something that many of us grow up learning in school here for May Day) bloomed into this beautiful rainbow of colors.
Mahalo once again to Emily from Kaʻulumaika who has continued to bring my vision to life."
