Island Silver Crowns - Niho Mano
Authetic Koa Wood Luxury Snapback
Niho Mano means shark tooth. These are real tiger shark teeth with Koa wood and red, white and blue satin. This is a special piece.
Koa is the ancient tree endemic to Hawai‘i. The meaning “brave, bold, fearless warrior” is fitting for this majestic hard-wood that is sacred and admired for its strength and beauty. In ancient Hawai‘i, it was used for weapons and canoes. Today it is revered for it’s beautiful deep, rich textures and tones in it’s grains and is only used for the finest hand made products.
KOA BILLS should NEVER be left in the car in hot conditions for long periods of time. The wood can warp.
ACRYLIC bills should only be cleaned with blue cotton shop cloths and a 50/50 solution of alcohol/water. Acrylic is plastic and can scratch easily.
